Justice in Frames

Justice in Frames is a digital storytelling fellowship focused on Business, Human Rights, and the Environment. This programme is hosted by the Malaysian Youth Delegation (MYD) in partnership with United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Malaysia. The Justice in Frames programme supports young Malaysian content creators in producing bold, creative content that explores the intersection of climate justice, human rights and business accountability. 

Over the course of this fellowship, selected participants will receive training, guidance, and a stipend to create original digital content that challenges dominant narratives, amplifies marginalized voices, and reflects ethical storytelling practices.

The fellows will be diving into 7 weekly themes that explores the intersection of climate justice, human rights and business accountability:

  1. Week 1: Circular economy and its implications for environmental and social wellbeing
  2. Week 2: Renewable Energy and Just Energy Transition
  3. Week 3: Sustainable and Inclusive Transportation
  4. Week 4: Reskilling for a Just Transition
  5. Week 5: Occupational Safety and Health in the Midst of Climate Change
  6. Week 6: Exploring the hidden human rights and environmental regulation violations behind greenwashing and bluewashing
  7. Week 7: Rights of Vulnerable Groups
