ABOUT
MYD Climate Conference 2025
Malaysian Youth Delegation is once again hosting its flagship youth conference — the MYD Climate Conference (MYDCC2025) aims to boost youth-led climate action at the local level and contribute meaningful input in the lead-up to the global United Nations Climate Change Conference, known as the Conference of Parties, COP30 2025 in Brazil.
With youth making up around 40% of Malaysia’s population, MYDCC2025 empowers young people with the knowledge, skills, and networks to understand and actively engage in climate action.
Through workshops, panel discussions, simulations, exhibitions, and a youth assembly, delegates will explore climate risks and impacts, examine solutions, and navigate the complexities of climate funding and policy-making processes, with outcomes of the youth assembly feeding into the National Youth Statement (NYS).
